July 6: Guest soloist, Japanese pianist Makoto Ozone, performs with the SFS improvising on Ravel’s well-known classical pieces Bolero and Pavane pour une infant défunte, including SFS principal musicians Mark Inouye (trumpet), Scott Pingel (bass), and Jacob Nissly (percussion) forming a solo jazz quartet with Ozone.
