New Year 2015 – Is Time an Illusion?

    to me !!!

January 2015

Year 2014 gone forever, and now we welcomed New Years.

Albert Einstein wrote in a letter;

“For us who are convinced physicists, the distinction between past, present, and future is only an illusion, however persistent.”

This “timeless” view of the universe goes against our usual thinking. If there were
absolutely no physical change in the universe, then I could say there would be no time. I post my pictures on this blog. You see, those pictures are timeless, a collection of non-contiguous frames (moment).

However, my real life, time is “real”, and not a mere bookkeeping device.

Jokes on you by Woody Allen;

* What if everything is an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I definitely overpaid for my carpet.

* Interestingly, according to modern astronomers, space is finite. This is a very comforting thought – particularly for people who cannot remember where they left things.
