There are so many reasons it is important to have good friends.
Many elderly people have huge problems, which are being away from society and loneliness. If you have family members live with you, then you may get your meaning from your roles. People need a purpose for a living, so if you have it you can live well.
It’s important to have people you can rely on. If you don’t have a purpose, then even if you have a nice house to live in, have plenty of money, Some small thing can happen and with no one to talk to about it, you don’t know how to solve it and then eventually you give up on what you have and abandon yourself to despair. You cannot give up on yourself. Now I can say I have good friends and good neighbors. I realized that the warm feeling of human connection is so important in maintaining my overall emotional and physical health.
The time is now!
